Dusten was the lead attorney in a business dispute about mining claims and was successful in obtaining a decision which included findings of fraud and breaches of fiduciary duties against the clients former business associates. This matter was litigated in Miami Florida in Federal District Court and Arbitrated in Miami Florida the opposing parties had unlimited resources and were represented by the largest law firm in the world.
Dusten was lead counsel in the final litigation of the Crandall Canyon Mine Disaster for the miner who did not join in the settlement of the initial litigation. Dusten handled this matter from start to finish as lead counsel and was able to obtain a result satisfactory to his clients. Dusten received an award from the Lawyers of Distinction recognizing his excellence in Civil
Litigation.
Dusten received his J.D. from S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2003. He is a Utah Bar Association member and licensed to practice in State and Federal Courts in Utah and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Dusten received his B.A. in Agronomy from Brigham Young University in 2000.
